Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the 10th Anniversary Symposium of GELIFES, under the title "Decoding Life's Diversity", taking place on June 26, 2025, in Groningen, the Netherlands. This special event not only marks a decade of scientific excellence at GELIFES but also provides a unique opportunity to foster new collaborations and strengthen existing ones.
GELIFES is dedicated to understanding the adaptive capacity of life, from the intricate workings of the brain to the vast biodiversity shaped by evolution. As we celebrate our Institute’s milestones, this symposium will highlight the diversity of life sciences research - spanning molecular adaptations, behavioral ecology, neurobiology, and biodiversity conservation - and its importance to today’s global challenges.
The program features distinguished keynote speakers, dynamic discussions, and interactive sessions, highlighting groundbreaking research from across our institute and beyond. Additionally, a poster session will provide students, early-career researchers, and established scientists with a platform to share recent insights across a diverse range of scientific fields. We therefore strongly encourage students, including those at the Master's level, to submit an abstract for the poster session.
As GELIFES continues to push scientific boundaries and contribute to societal challenges, we invite our research community, collaborators, students and alumni to join us in celebrating a decade of discovery and impact.
Save the date of June 26, 2025, and be part of this inspiring event!
We look forward to welcoming you to Groningen.
